Mailing List Help
Our regular "Tournament Reminder" mailings go out two weeks
before the tournament. Another "Final Reminder" mailing will
be sent out 1 week prior to the tournament. If you are on
our mailing list and you feel that you are not receiving our
emails there are several things that you can do.
- Check your "Spam" or "Junk
Mail" folders. Your email provider has filters in
place to guard against spamming. If the email is in this
folder, move it to your Inbox and do the following:
- Create a contact for Bryan Park
Seniors Golf using our regular email address, bryanparkseniors@yahoo.com.
- Also include in this new contact the
address that is used when we send emails through Mailchimp, bryanparkseniors.yahoo.com@send.mailchimpapp.com.
By creating a contact using these
email addresses, you are telling your email provider that these
are trusted email addresses and that emails from these addresses
should be sent to your Inbox. If you are unsure how to
create contacts in your email client,
YouTube has tutorials on how
to do this. Enter "create email contacts" and your email
provider's name (yahoo, gmail, etc.) in the search box.
- If the above does not fix the
problem, read the instructions below and then CLICK
HERE TO UPDATE YOUR PREFERENCES. Fill out
the form and click "Subscribe to list." If you have
entered an email address that the system deems an address not
already in the system, this should be your final step. If
you are currently subscribed you should get an error message
prompting you to re-enter your email address. Below the
box for the email address is a link to "update your
preferences." Click on this link and a message will appear
telling you that an email has been sent to your email address
with a link to update your preferences. When you receive
this email, open it and click on the link. A form will
appear with your information already entered. Make sure
the information is correct and add any missing information that
is not included on the form. Then click on the "Update
Profile" button.
